2015-2016                            City of New Orleans:  Senior Data Scientist

  • Chief architect of analytics solutions for the City of New Orleans.  Program manager of the NOLAlytics Initative – a system that uses data and the tools of data science to solve the biggest issues facing the City of New Orleans. 
  • Developed and managed the strategies that increased police recruitment, increased primary healthcare delivery and optimized EMS assets to reduce response time during my tenure.
  • Created a framework to access the feasibility and impact of projects used to address mayoral priorities. This framework has been adopted by the City of Kansas City and the City of Pittsburg.
  • Secured a portfolio of corporate, academic and nonprofit partners to propel scale and implementation of analytics projects: UPS, NYU, LSU, HunchLab and DHS.  Donated time and grants exceed $2.5 million.


 2010-2013                            UNREALISE LLC:   Co-founder / President / Chief Analytics Officer                  

  • Co-founded UNREALISE to provide a competitive edge to clients by reducing their total claim outcome.
  • Developed a comparable analysis application to provide companies a data-driven decision making capability and comprehensive risk analysis tool.  Average annual of 30% savings per client.
  • Crafted UNREALISE’s client development, marketing and analytics strategy using a free-model concept. Representative clients included McDonald's, Ace Hardware, Coca-Cola Bottler's Association and AutoZone.


2006-2010                           Ringler Associates:  Vice President of National Marketing                                                                                                 

  • Expanded the national marketing operation of Ringler Associates in the areas of self-insured entities, hospitals and trucking companies – directly resulted in $300M increased premium in my first 18 months.
  • Created a technology based marketing strategy for Ringler Radio.  Increased downloads from 1,200 yearly to greater than 40,000 monthly – increasing qualified lead generation to producers by 97%.
  • Experienced speaker on a national stage and industry events.  Provided continuing education to over 1,000 attorneys and claim professionals on topics of predictive modeling, negotiation and litigation management.

1985-2006                          United States Navy:  Intelligence Officer (retired)   Selected Achievements            

  • Senior adviser to Director of Naval Intelligence on human capital development and management – weighing risk and investment against enterprise goals and reform efforts of 5,000 intelligence professionals.​
  • Translated all intelligence requirements from five combatant commands into the Congressional Justification Book for the Senate Subcommittee on Intelligence and the House Appropriations Committee Defense.
  • JCS J2 Crisis Action Team Briefer – Joint Staff Intelligence Directorate (J2), Pentagon. Represented the J2 on the Crisis Action Team in the National Military Command Center providing daily strategic updates for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joint Staff Directorates and other Department of Defense officials.
